Established in 1996, Network Employment is the supported employment service for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. It uses the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to support people with mental ill health to gain and retain open paid employment. Network Employment is recognised by the Centre for Mental Health as being an exemplar service as part of its centres of excellence programme. It’s team of specialist employment advisers work alongside clinical colleagues in mental health teams across Liverpool.
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed in 2001 gaining Foundation Trust status in 2016. We provide specialist mental health, learning disability, addiction and acquired brain injury services across Merseyside and the Northwest of England. We are one of only 3 trusts in the country to provide secure mental health services with specialist learning disabilities. Our service is provided across 36 sites with over 5000 staff serving a population of almost 11 million people.
